Job Description: |

We are a bookkeeping company specializing in the home health industry. Duties include
preparing/analyzing financial statements, budget projections, cost analysis & preparation
of Medicare cost report. Thorough knowledge of cash/accrual basis of accounting is a must.
B.S. in Accounting or related + 1 year experience in Medicare/Medi-Cal regulation related
accounting.

Job Description: |

| |
The main responsibility of the biller is to audit patient records and determine if a claim is ready to
be generated for submission to insurance carriers. The biller will keep track of all submitted claims
until it is fully reimbursed. If claim denials due to errors are encountered the biller should be able
to apply corrections in a timely manner. The biller will regularly prepare and submit reports of all
reviewed patient records detailing up to date analysis of deficiencies of required documents and will
regularly follow up on all these deficiencies until compliance is met and a claim is ready to be processed.
Knowledge of PPS, batch billing software systems, DDE and EDI is desirable.
